Almaviva is looking for a Technical Team Coordinator (TTC), (m/f) for Ispra (Italy).

Specific expertise: Certification on ITILv3 foundation (as minimum) is a requirement

Technical Team Coordinator will be supervising the operational activities of service teams, according to a consistent overall vision and with the following objectives:- Provide a robust and secure IT infrastructure,- Observe leading standards on ICT service management (ITIL),- Rationalise and optimise systems according to the JRC strategic plan,- Avoid deadlocks and optimise internal processes, fostering synergies among the teams,- Offer an excellent and consistent service level to all customers across the DG

Nature of tasks The Technical team coordinator will play a key role in the overall Service Operation Process of the corporate ICT infrastructure catalogue of services. The coordinator shall undertake the:  - Daily operational teams management of the assigned teams, including: planning, definition of tasks, review of service level, quality control, risk analysis, call handling status and escalation, status reports (monthly, yearly), problem reporting and organisation definition.- Resource management: Definition of the minimum workforce requirements per team to meet the respective team's service SLA. Then: planning of resource usage (shifts, on-call, holidays...), and observance of the work shift compliances.- Activities tracking against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports- Manage and contribute to the internally defined request/event/problem/incident procedures.- Provide effective leadership for the operational team, ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience.- Participation in coordination and project meetings

Knowledge and skills The proposed candidate shall be particularly skilful in the main areas of what it is today considered commodity ICT infrastructure. He/she is expected to be autonomous in assisting service providers at making educated technical decisions affecting the coordinated services. To that end, and referred as Specific Experience in the FWC, candidate is expected to show technical proficiency in the following areas:- IT service ManagementCertification on ITILv3 foundation (as minimum) is a requirement.   Computer Facility Management:* Knowledge and experience on CMDB inventory systems;* Computer Server Hardware knowledge;* Basic structured cabling techniques and technologies knowledge;* Principles of power and cooling;* Support Contract Management. RMA and defective hardware replacement procedures;* Configuration management tasks & procedures.

   Networking and Network Security:* Switching and Routing Technologies (Cisco certifications are a big plus);* Practical knowledge with Firewalls, Proxies, Reverse proxies, IPS, VPN concentrators (Cisco Certifications considered as an advantage);* Experience with Network services (NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP and the like)* Information Systems Security knowledge (CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 or similar certification as an advantage);

   Backend Infrastructure:* Windows / Linux Operating system knowledge (Microsoft, Red Hat, LPI or similar certifications considered as an advantage);* SAN/NAS storage technologies experience;* Backup and Recovery platforms.

   Information System Hosting:* Basic RDBMS experience/knowledge (specific Oracle/MySQL knowledge as an advantage);* Web and web application servers experience (WebLogic/Tomcat as an advantage).

Personal skills requirements:- Strong believer and promoter of team work and collaboration.- Good communications skills in English (B2 level or above). Italian language knowledge is an advantage.- Willing to work in a busy team where learning new skills is
