Almaviva is looking for a Project Manager, ICT Solutions, (m/f) for Rome.

Organizational context:   The Information Technology Division (ICT) is responsible for providing information technology solutions and services to support the operations of the organization and to ensure that, the organization makes the most effective use of Information and Communications Technology tools and services.Duties and responsibilities:Under the supervision of the ICT Solutions Coordinator, ICT, and as part of the ICT Solutions team, the incumbent will project manage the development, implementation, evolution and support of the functionality and integrity of clients' corporate systems. The backbone of clients' corporate systems is the PeopleSoft ERP, the Flexcube banking platform and Oracle Data Warehouse and BI technologies for reporting. In addition bespoke, web based applications are developed using Ruby/Rails. Liferay is used as the corporate CMS with Sharepoint being utilised as a document repository and for Records management.The incumbent will:- Undertake detailed analysis of assigned client business processes, defining application system requirements, and develop the necessary technical and functional specifications, ensuring alignment of systems with business strategies - Develop effective relationships with Business Process Owners (BPOs), seeking to establish and promote partnerships to ensure comprehensive delivery of Solutions - Design, develop, maintain, document and deploy corporate application systems primarily, but not limited to, the corporate ERP environment; interface custom software with ERP solutions and productivity tools - Identify integration points within the ICT systems and coordinate with the BPOs to deliver efficiency gains at a system level and across functional units - Provide ongoing technical support to clients' corporate systems including problem resolution and bug-fixing, application changes and enhancements - Develop strategies for system upgrades and procedures for patch installation and testing - Resolve system configuration and performance problems - Manage change requests for clients' corporate systems, including the evaluation, execution, testing, verification, acceptance and deployment of the requested solution - Undertake feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects and develop project plans for system development, maintenance and evolution projects; analyze technical proposals for ERP-related equipment, software and services  -Plan and develop deliverables for consultants and external developers, overseeing work to ensure the quality of solutions implemented - Perform other related duties as required.

Professional requirements:Qualification and experience- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline with at least eight years of professional work experience in the implementation and support of corporate applications including ERP. - Experience in the implementation and support of large corporate projects across multiple technology platforms- Experience in the implementation and support of ERP Finance and HR modules, preferably using the PeopleSoft platform.  - Experience running agile projects- PRINCE 2 / PMP certification and proven experience in IT project management would be advantageous, as would experience of agile project implementation. Technical Requirements:- Experience implementing projects ERP platforms- Experience with integration technologies including integration broker and web services- Experience implementing and integrating applications with document repositories and CMS- Experience with OBIEE reporting tool would be advantageous
