Required profile: Female au pair No of available posts: 1 Place of work: Monza Deadline for applications: 08/08/2016 Description of the task: We are looking for an au pair to start at the end of AUGUST- begin of SEPTEMBER 2016 for 6 months (minimum) – 10 months (best) near Milan (Italy) Au pairing daily schedule (Mon – Fri): we will have breakfast together and then, as au pair, just help our 5.y.o. daughter to prepare herself and bring her to school (9.00 am). After that you will be free until 4.30 pm (time to pick her up from school). We will come back around 7.30 - 8pm, in this time just play, have fun together and have dinner (this means to warm up a meal or cook very simple things). Once or twice a week we may ask you to stay with our daughter also the evening, while she is sleeping, to have a dinner out (9.00pm - 11.00pm). We will ask you to stay with Gaia all day if she is sick (once or twice a year it can happen). All week ends, evenings, remaining hours you will be free. Sometimes you will be free also on Friday, after bringing Gaia to school, to have the time to travel around and visit our beautiful country. We live in a flat of 180sm (2 bathrooms, 4 balconies) in an exclusive condominium with concierge, a large green area, a tennis court, a summer swimming pool available from 1st June to September. A mall is near there (around 200 meters) and you can reach the school (1 km) with a bicycle path, while the bus stop is about 100 meters from our flat. Other au pairs lives in the apartments near us. We have an external housekeeper twice a week, so you are just asked to be tidy and clean your own spaces (room and bathroom), to tidy up our daughter's room after playing and to keep clean the common spaces. Other: Family description: We’re a funny, young and dynamic family who lives in Milan hinterland (Italy). We are 3: me, my husband and our 5 years old smiling daughter Gaia. We are searching for a shining girl who loves children. We live in Monza, at 7 km from Milan (about 30 minutes by public transport to get in the center). We love jokes, smiling and having fun together. Me and my husband are used to stay with Gaia all the free time we have, because we work in the center of Milan and we are out all day, from Monday to Friday. This is the reason why we are looking for a trustful person to stay with our daughter when she is not at school (school time: 9am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday). Gaia is going to a bilingual Italian/English school but she cannot speak English; she can understand simple words and concepts (colors, numbers, simple things...) even if she can perfectly sing English songs such as 10 little monkeys and so on (lol). We are interested to grew up her with a bilingual education and cultural exchange, so we will ask you to speak English with her and also with us when she is around. It may be quite heavy at the beginning, but we are sure that she will speak soon. Our family interests are obviously Gaia, but also swim, bike, movies and TV series, mountain and sea, literature, psychology. We are a very well organized family, and we love to plan, talk and clarify everything.
