DG Associati (Aut.Min.Prot.13/I/0002513/MA004.A003), with the technical partnership of Healthware International, selects a Digital Data Scientist (M/F) on behalf of a leading multinational pharmaceutical company based in the Center of Italy for a strategic digital transformation project. The candidate, reporting to the Head of Corporate Digital Services and Innovation, will be responsible to manage the analysis of Big Data to provide Digital Services Managers and Marketing & Sales Department with the key drivers they may use to understand the digital need of the customer and evaluate the effectiveness of the digital services developed. The Digital Data Scientist role involves working on all stages of the data science pipeline, from acquiring and munging data, selecting appropriate models and algorithms and/or deriving custom algorithms, testing and evaluating these algorithms and models, to developing tools specifically oriented to the analysis of the big data, discovering patterns useful to define the digital behavior of the customer and creating dashboards for business stakeholders to monitor KPIs. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Sales Analysts and ICT department to analyse and consolidate all the information already available from legacy systems, merge it with unstructured data coming from the digital space (websites, social networks, apps, etc) and create the Big Data to be analysed Understand business strategy and questions, design applicable data analytics approach, hands on extract insights from data or build predictive and optimization models, work with business to implement, and measure business impact Uncover customer behaviour on digital properties, either website or mobile devices. Identify key drivers of website visitor experience and revenue growth Serve as a subject matter expert on web analytics and data science and stay abreast of data science best practices and new applications Conduct in-depth analysis to address or highlight business issues related to digital products Bridge the gap between data and action - communicate analytical findings and help to identify commercial implications and opportunities arising from the conclusions Strong understanding of global digital product landscape with keen understanding of product and platform trends Work with business stakeholders and Digital Services Managers to understand business requirements and develop product/service evaluation reports Provide functional specifications for streamlining analytical needs across multiple data providers Conduct proactive data mining and profiling to optimize the design of the digital services across key international regions and discover hidden trends Liaise with external agencies on advanced analysis and present results to stakeholders Desired Skills and Experiences Education: BS/BA in relevant field, such as Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science. Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken), with Italian nice to have. Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related digital analytics experience Technical capabilities: Internet and computer-savvy; familiar with key sites and functionalities Strong analytical skills and familiarity with standard web tracking tools such as Google Analytics and VWO (Visual Website Optimizer) Proficient use in statistical tools such as R, SPSS or SAS Proficient in SQL Skills Good multi-tasking and project management skills Ability to interact with a diverse group of subject matter experts and other technical and non-technical cross-functional team members within a large global organization Creative, innovative, persistent, and forwarding thinking Next Generation Digital experience Stress management HOW TO APPLY: send your CV in English/Italian with photo and also the authorization for the treatment of personal data under the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree no. 196/2003) to: selezioni (at) dg-associati.it and cc to: eures (at) provincia.salerno.it
